About Matt Wheeler

A dedicated instructor

Matt Wheeler is an American Guitarist and Music Educator located in the Twin Cities, MN. Matt has been an active gigging musician for over a decade, playing music styles including but not limited to: Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Country, Funk, Fusion etc.. Matt has opened for bands such as Ratt, Winger, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Autograph, Lita Ford, Slaughter, 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, and has also performed the pre-game guitar solo for the Minnesota Vikings.

 

In 2016, Matt started his Professional career as a private music instructor and Mentor. Working with hundreds of students ranging from 5 - 80 years of age, Matt has extensive experience working with and adapting to each individual's learning styles to best guide their guitar playing to fruition.ā€‹
